Obedience Level 2

Stay Tuned For Dates and Location of Classes for Winter 2026!

In our Obedience Level 2 class we really take things to the next level with challenging your dog (and you as their owner) in a class environment.

We take the foundations you learned in Obedience 101 and implement the 3 D’s of training:

Duration, Distance and Distractions.

Through practice, consistency, and a ton of fun with your dog- you can proof their behaviors and deepen your communication abilities with them even more!

We welcome any breed, size, or age of dog- As long as they’re fully vaccinated.

With a maximum of 6 dog participants, your dog will receive personalized attention and guidance from our expert trainers.

You will learn:

-How to continuously keep your dog’s engagement and eagerness to have fun and train with you.

-How to pick up on your own dog’s body language more quickly and can pivot to meet them where they’re at and support them

-New games and exercises to have fun with them- all while strengthening their baseline obedience

-How to help your dog regulate in high stress environments

-How to help your dog switch from work mode, to play mode, to rest mode

Your dog will learn:

-Reliable Recall around distractions

-Emergency Down Sit & Stay, Down & Stay from a distance

-Sending your dog to a place from a distance

-No barking

-Door and stair thresholds (no dashing)

-Settle in new environments

-Loose Leash walk around high distractions.

-Potential for group public access

*This course will also be flexible to work through each dogs individual needs to ensure your challenges are addressed.

*Our Pre-requisite for Level 2 Obedience is our Obedience 101 Class*

Upcoming Class Courses Dates & Location TBD

We welcome any breed, size, or age of dog

*All dogs must have up to date vaccinations*

I require proof of up-to-date Rabies and Distemper/Parvo Vaccinations to be submitted to me before our classes. Although the Kennel Cough vaccination is not mandatory- I do highly recommend it.

*Our classes are not suitable for Highly Reactive or Aggressive Dogs*

If your dog barks and lunges at other people and/dogs- please call us and we will discuss what is the best course of action for your dog. Our group classes generally have at least 5 other dogs and their owners, so we need to set everyone, including your dog, up to win. A group class is not necessarily the right first step for your dog to learn with us. We need to meet your dog where they’re at- and that’s in a few private lessons. Once your dog is ready to work around other dogs- we will happily welcome them into class.

*A Note on Missed classes*

If you miss a class, you will still receive the recap notes that get sent out to all the students.

We do not offer free make-up classes.

You can also reserve a spot make it up for a small fee- or if there is another class on the same session as the one you’ve missed- you may be able to join that.

Please talk to your trainer if you anticipate missing any classes.
